I don’t take pictures of cars as often as I should. Let me reword that. I don’t take advantage of opportunities to take pictures of cars as often as I should. The car pictured is one of those cars. But I got it. I did it. I was ” dammit! tonight is the night!”
It wasn’t nearly as dramatic as I made it seem in the previous paragraph. But it took a way longer than necessary for this shot to come to fruition. We were leaving my aunts house after an impromptu 5th grade graduation party for my son, Gunnar. True Life: My son is getting older and I can’t handle it. I’m not prepared and now is not the time to talk about it. Back to the car. Now usually this car is uncovered. And for some reason I thought that the cover would somehow take away from the coolness of the car. Not so much. The photo came out even better than I expected.
The numbered presets, 1-10 to be exact, are my favorite filters on VSCO. I use number 5 for almost everything. But they all have the ability to transform a photo in a way that’s simple and super approachable. And I really like that. Number 9 gave this photo a really cool and almost retro look. It made me feel it was taken in the 80’s. I was right back on the block that i was born and raised on. It was 1989, I was 6 years old, and I didn’t have a care in the world. Those were the days. The nostalgia was real ya’ll.
